Compensation Range: $24/hr - $26/hr commensurate with experience
Overview:
The Housing Works/ Bailey House Short Term Housing Program provides emergency transitional housing services to Homeless or Unstably housing individuals living with HIV. Reporting to the Director of Short-Term Housing Services, the Data Specialist is responsible for leading data operations for the Short-Term Housing Contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the case management team, the Data Specialist is responsible for registering service deliverables information from the client case file into eShare.
- Communications reminders to the case management team around important deadlines and service provision needs.
- Understand data requirements and deliverables for the funder and key stakeholders across contracts.
- Stay up to date on new funder/grant requirements related to data bases and data entry.
- Develop, implement and monitor data integrity policies and procedures.
- Present data analysis reports and trends at department and agency meetings.
- Troubleshoot technical issues or errors with databases which may include submitting tickets or coordinating with IT Department.
- Lead program audit readiness process.
- Responsible for updating data collection tools in response to funder changes or agency needs and coordinating these changes with program staff.
- All other tasks, or projects, as assigned by supervisor.
- Display Housing Works core values in all functions of the position.
- Provide culturally competent services in accordance with Housing Works policies and practices.
- Promotes Housing Works core values consistently.
- Bachelor’s Degree Required.
- Experience with eSHARE, AIRS, eClinical Works, or other case management data base preferred.
- Experience with social services preferred.
- 80% of the job is in the office.
